Cocktails
Old Fashioned
whiskey, bitters, simple syrup, lemon wedge, amarena cherry
According to lore, the one that started it all.
Jack Rose
applejack, lime juice, simple syrup, lemon wedge
Another throwback. Incidentally, Laird's has been making applejack for about 230 years (in New Jersey!)
Caipirinha
Cachaça, lime juice, simple syrup, lime wedge
Big in Brazil. Cachaça is rum but instead of molasses, it's made from sugar cane juice. Oh and it's smokier.
Manhattan
whiskey, sweet vermouth, a few dashes bitters, amarena cherry
We all have personal tastes. Would you like a softer Manhattan with Kentucky bourbon? Or maybe a drier one with Oregon whiskey?
Gin and Tonic
gin, Fever Tree Tonic Water, lime wedge
A touch more, due to the Fever Tree, but, of course, more delicious.
Margarita
tequila, triple sec, lime juice, simple syrup, lime wedge, salt
Mmmmmm...argarita!
Cosmopolitan
vodka, cranberry juice, triple sec, lime juice, simple syrup, lime wedge
We use Sugar Momma since it's made from cane sugar (vodka from cane sugar?!) and “a bit of molasses”. And it's from Monroe!
Hot Apple Toddy
applejack, honey, hot water, lemon wedge
Traditionally with whiskey, this one is scrumptious and healing.
